Slow down. Amor Fati.
Love Your Fate
If you worked with boompromo prior to 2020, you know that our business model was completely different back then. Our main focus was on hunting big projects.
We didn’t spend much time or energy on small, short-term projects – they just didn’t fit our system or infrastructure. But the pandemic brought all of my assumptions to a screeching halt.
It forced me as a leader to slow down, evaluate, and really listen to our client base. Our biggest clients were crystal clear:
“Hey, we have to change the way we spend money. It doesn’t make sense to do these big projects anymore and we’re trying to find solutions for smaller orders at volume.”
So I loved my fate.
- I confronted my ego.
- We built new systems.
- We invested in software.
- We restructured our labor.
We were forced to pivot. And, no surprise, we grew. I believe in the stoic philosophy of Amor Fati – which is Latin for “Love Your Fate.”
Recognize your reality.
Turn it into something that you love.
It’s a decent way to live.

“I love this collection because it’s cozy and warm – with a beautiful nod to bringing nature indoors. And also… wine.”
